Policonvo has no account, no server that holds your data, and no analytics that leave your computer. Your messages travel between you and each service — they do not pass through us, because there is nothing of ours in between.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or any message you send or receive. We do not operate a server that your messages reach. We run no telemetry, no usage tracking, no crash reporting, and no advertising or marketing identifiers.
We never see your passwords. Sign-in happens on each service's own website, inside an isolated browser session on your machine.
Sign-in sessions — cookies and site storage — are kept in a separate, persistent partition for each service. They live on your disk and are removed when you clear a service's data or remove the service.
Notification history is held in memory only. Titles and previews are never written to disk and are gone when the app quits.
Usage statistics in the Analytics panel are stored locally, visible only to you, resettable at any time, and never transmitted.
Files you download, and any notification sound you supply, are ordinary files on your disk.
Each service connects to its own servers on your behalf, as a browser would. Their privacy policy governs that traffic, not this one.
Service icons are fetched at runtime from each service's own website, so no third-party logo has to be distributed inside the app. That request tells their servers your IP address, exactly as opening their site would.
If automatic update checks are on, the app asks the update server whether a newer version exists. That reveals your IP address and the version you run. No identifier of you is attached.
If you have bought a licence, the app checks it with our payment provider when you activate it and roughly once a month afterwards. Nothing is sent if you are using the free tier.
On Windows and Linux the spellchecker is Chromium's, which downloads dictionaries from Google the first time a language is used. On macOS the system spellchecker is used and nothing is downloaded.
If you buy a licence, our payment provider handles the purchase and receives what it needs to take payment and issue a receipt. We receive your email address so a licence can be sent, and re-sent if you lose it.
Activating a licence sends your licence key to our payment provider, once, to confirm it and register this computer against it. The app then re-checks it roughly once a month. Those requests carry the key and your computer’s name — nothing about which services you use or what you do with them.
Between those checks the answer is remembered locally, so the app keeps working offline. If the check cannot be made at all, nothing changes for a further month rather than the app locking you out.
Licences issued directly by us instead carry a cryptographic signature and are verified entirely on your computer, with no request of any kind.
Because nothing is stored on our side, there is no account to delete and no export to request. Removing a service clears its session; deleting the app's data folder removes everything the app has ever kept.
Requests under GDPR or similar laws can only concern the little we hold — an email address attached to a licence, if you bought one.
The data controller is the maker of Policonvo, whose registered name, identification number and address are published on the Terms page of policonvo.com. Contact: hello@policonvo.com.
The only personal data we hold is an email address attached to a licence, and only if you bought one. The lawful basis is performance of the contract you entered into — we need it to send you the licence and to send it again if you lose it. It is kept while your licence is valid and for as long afterwards as tax law requires records of the sale to be kept, and then deleted.
You have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable form. Because the only thing we hold is that email address, most of these are answered in a single message.
If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the supervisory authority in the country you live in. In Romania that is the Autoritatea Naţională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (dataprotection.ro).
Our payment provider processes your purchase as merchant of record and is responsible, as its own controller, for the data it collects to take payment, charge tax and issue your invoice. Its privacy policy governs that.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what the app sends or stores, the change ships with the release that causes it, and the date above moves.
